“Undoubtedly, the greatest tourist attraction is the lighthouse in Gąski. It was built during the winter of 1877/78, measures 50.2 meters in height and is the second largest lighthouse in Poland. It has massive foundations, planted on an octagonal base with a diameter of 11.3 m. The light of the lighthouse is visible in good weather from a distance of 19.5 nautical miles – which is about 36 kilometers. It is open to the public. There are winding stairs leading to the top and the view from the terrace is breathtaking. ”
