The Coastal Defense Museum was established in 2006 by the “Friends of Hel” Association.
The museum is named after commander Zbigniew Przybyszewski, the heroic defender of Hel.
A visit to the Coastal Defense Museum allows you to learn about the history of the Polish defensive war in 1939 and visit unique military facilities.
The main exhibition facility of the museum is the B-2 “Bruno.
In the forest nearby, a military open-air museum with cannons, mines, torpedoes and rolling stock are set up. There is also a narrow-gauge railway station which takes tourists to the Hel Railway Museum.
