Rewita Pieczyska invites you to Forest Park of Culture and Leisure
Myślcinek is the largest city park in Poland, located just three kilometers from the center of Bydgoszcz. The 800-hectare enclave of forest wilderness with hills and ravines cut by streams is eagerly visited not only by Bydgoszcz residents, but also by visitors enchanted by the beauty of nature harmoniously combined with a rich infrastructure that allows active rest, relaxation and practicing high-performance sports.
The ponds are the natural attractions of Myślcinek. On the largest of them there is an island called a bird. Its nickname comes from the enormous colonies of black-headed gulls and terns that chose it for their habitat.
One of the most popular places in the Forest Park is Polana Różopole. It is here that countless concerts, conventions, festivals, picnics and sports events take place. It is also a favorite place to rest, relax and spend time outdoors, not only for the residents of Bydgoszcz.
The park covers 4.7% of the entire city area. The reservoirs cover 18.5 hectares (2% of the park area) and the largest is 10.3 hectares.
